Visitors evacuate Florida Keys as Fay nears Cuba

MIAMI, Florida (CNN) -- Visitors of the Florida Keys began evacuating early Sunday as Tropical Storm Fay prompted forecasters to issue a hurricane watch for the area. Emergency officials asked visitors to evacuate the chain of islands starting at 8 a.m. as the storm neared Cuba.

Fay could be near hurricane strength when it reaches central Cuba on Sunday night, according to the 8 a.m. ET advisory from the National Hurricane Center.http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/weath.../fay/index.html
