In my c:/programs/I have a file called "zerox" if I open this a folder insde called"nwwia" it is empty. When I tried to delete this a window came up, said could not delete another program was using it.Close it up and try again,now I am not sure if should delete.I am just cleaning up unused and unwanted stuff off of the pc.

Have a read of this thread, it seems the best way to get rid of these unecessary folders is to delete them in Safe Mode:
