I'm playing with Mozilla/Firebird browser again , just to get the feel of it . And I tried to open an image link at WS . Got this ! "Firebird does not know how to handle this file type " How do I get rid of this . I remeber that was the reason I uninstalled Mozila 1.4  A browser can't open jpg ?without instruction from the user ?
How do I get rid of that popup window , it comes back even when I take a checkmark out of "Always show this dialog.... " and when I click on the image link , why does a blank window opens ? before the dialog window pops up . That blank window is not used for anything as the picture viewer opens the image and pops up on top of the blank window.
Thank you :)

Hi Jane,

I noticed over at WS that you have the ua switcher now. Close and reopen FB for it to appear in the tools menu.

Let me know if you need further help. :)

To add a little detail, at WorldStart you have to use the UA Switcher extension and use the IE6 XP spoof in order to open attachments without specifying a program to "open with". You don't need it here in order to open attachments directly, nor anywhere else I'm aware of, but I haven't experimented at very many sites, so I can't say that WS is the only place you will need to use the IE6 XP spoof.

Very rarely I run across a site that refuses to let any browser except IE in, usually you can use the spoof to get in.
