The bay I overlook was a beautiful dark blue today, a little darker than normal.
Here are a couple of shots I took.

Ron,
I envy you having such a wonderful view, it is my dream to retire (not for many years though) to somewhere where I can sit and watch the sea. :)

Yes Amie, I think we all can just sit and watch the sea, or for that matter a roaring fire for hours and not feel we have wasted a minute. :)

(did you watch that 'thugby" match last night? Go the ABs :) )

No I'm not going to tell you it is warm enough for swimming and yet the water is about 22C (70F), but you have sent a breeze up from antartica via the shakey isles at present and our morning temperature today was 10C (50F). Much to cold for locals but the southern tourists are out there swimming. We feel they are a few sandwiches short of a picnic.
I did watch the matches and the poms got thumped again by the All Blacks which we all like to see. Their press will again have some excuse but they tried to use thugery again and lost on all counts.
The Wallabies are doing OK as well. :jig:

Certainly not Precious. Just for you, another couple taken the same day.
The one on the right is an extension of our main beach that runs for 12 miles.
