this is what I get everytime I go to make a signature off http://magick.net4tv.com/MagickStudio/scri...agickStudio.cgi
I was reading Linda's article, I have tried this a hundred time and I keep getting the error below.
I save the signature just like it says, pick out the sparklies, and then go to magick.net and when I try to put it all together I get this error. I am running windows xp prof. Maybe there is something I should download???
Exception 420: No decode delegate for this image format (/var/www/html//MagickStudio/workarea/7d9c4b50e852e922cc1b9c65d0c45e53f70f758e/magicc0iopN):
Thanks

Sheba,
It could just be that the site is having problems at the moment, and not your fault at all. :P

Sheba, at times some people get that same page. The site could be experiencing difficulties. Try this link and let me know if it will work for you - http://studio.imagemagick.org/MagickStudio...agickStudio.cgi (http://studio.imagemagick.org/MagickStudio/scripts/MagickStudio.cgi) :amie:

Hi Linda, I must have something wrong with my settings. This is what I have done so far, I have read all your articles, and I do them including the Gif works. I can preview everything I have done, then I go to accept and I can't save it. When I am in image magic I get that flag that I showed you prior, when I am in Gif works it just won't come up so I can save it. In image magic I can save it, but prior a flag comes up from XP and says this may not save right do I still want to save? I say yes, then when I go to bring up the image again in image magic I get that flag.
I have been going to file, save as..I am going to try and right click save picture as and see if that makes a difference. Seems strange to me that both programs, gif and image magic don't work on this computer. I am thinking I might not have something marked right in my settings??? I am going to try the save as with right clicking and see is that makes any difference at all.
Thanks

Sheba, I have heard from two others some time back a similar problem and I think they both had XP. I'm not sure what the answer is - but, if you see your image at all - you most definitely can try to just right click from there and save your image. I do that as a shortcut, but I have found that on some images - it won't save right. But for the majority, it will! :amie:

Hi Sheba
I've run into the same problem many times and I've figured out that the error means that it can't read that type of file in order to open it. What I've done is gone back to the gif I'm trying to open and "opened with" IrfanView. Then while in IrfanView I've resaved it as a gif file. Also, sometimes the gif may be too big to open so, I've made it smaller in IrfanView also. Most times doing this has worked for me but you may have entirely differant problem. Linda will be along soon I hope to give you better help.
Hope this helps you out for now,
Linda

Good advice Tidyup! Another thing that can happen too is if it won't take your image - I have pulled it up at Irfanview and when I clicked to open it - it would tell me that it had an incorrect file extension and did I want to rename it and I said "yes" and then it would change and the other sites would then take it. Also, if you have any characters within the file name, that it objects to - like apostrophes, etc. - it won't take it. To get around that, just click on the file and then right click and take out what the original name is and rename it with proper characters and then it will work. :amie:
