Some of you have expressed interest in writing colored text names.
Some of you have expressed interest in writing colored text names. Go to
http://linuxenvy.com/bprentice/Banners/Banners.html
Click at the bottom and view the "font" examples. They really have some nice ones. When you find the font that you like, click your back button to return to the main page. Backspace or highlight "banner text" to take it off and put in the name that you want. Click on the little down arrow to choose your font.
Now comes the "fun" part - you can click the down arrow by "text color" and immediately have a selection of colors. Click on the one that you want and then move on to the "background color" option. I like to set my background color to "transparent", but you can click that down arrow and choose whatever option or leave it alone and you'll have a white background. At "user type" put a dot beside "regular" and then click on "submit". Another page will come up with your signature. Just right click on it and save it to your computer.
For the ones of you that can't find the exact premade color - here's a little extra "fun" with mixing shades. Click on the "color chart" at the bottom. You will see all the codes to use to get the exact shade that you want. All you have to do is get the numbers beside the shade and then click back to your first page.
For instance, the first one shown is "antique white". To get that shade, I would put the number 250 in the "red" category - the number 235 in the "green" category and the number "215" in the blue category on the first page. You will see those options right under the "background color". There will be three boxes with numbers that you can backspace off and put in the numbers that you want to achieve your color.
You can also change the font size, just by putting in a different number. If you don't like something, just click on your "back" button and take out whatever you want to change or click on "clear" to start everything over.
