Add A Twinkle To Your Image Print E-mail

Go to http://www.online-image-editor.com/index.cfm and click on "file" and then "open".  Click on "browse" and find an image that is not animated, click on it and then click "open".  Now click on "upload" and wait for it to appear.

Go to "effects" and choose "start stars wizard". There will be several star options from which to choose. If you only want one twinkle, as for an eye, etc., just click on the star of your choice. If you'd like more twinkles, just click on either the same star for each twinkle that you want to add or you can mix them by using any or all of the star options by clicking on them to add to your image.

For each click, the twinkle will appear in the upper left hand corner. Move your cursor to it and then left click and drag it where you want it. It will say "star 1" and then click the down arrow where you see a "0" and put in the delay time of your choice. On mine, I'm choosing 50 for the first one. Now click on your next star choice and it will appear as "star 2". Leave it at "begin" and now change the delay time to another number. I'm changing mine for this star to 100 and on my next star, I'll change its number to 140, etc. You can play around with the different delay times and see the effects.

Another way to add the twinkles is after you've added your first star which will have "begin" - on the second star click the down arrow and change "begin" to star 1. If you add another star, for star 3 click the down arrow and choose star 2., etc. This will allow the previous star to fade out just as the next star appears.

At any time that you wish you had one of the stars in a different place, just move the cursor over it and drag it to another place.

When you have it like you want it, just right click and save it to your computer.

Here is the image with two twinkle effects. The first image shows the fading out example and I have them placed around the girl so that you can see the "domino" effect and the second one shows using the delay time.
